Future student virtual experience

You can probably tell how much we love having you and your students here on campus, exploring the grounds and getting to know Curtin. And equally we enjoy catching up in person during our visits to your school. Sadly, though, we’re still unsure if the pandemic will disrupt our face-to-face events this year.

So, to make sure that your students don’t miss out on the courses and careers information that are important to their decisions, we’ve created an excellent selection of online ‘virtual’ presentations and student experiences. To check them out, click the buttons below:

In this 30-minute presentation your students will learn about early offers, admission pathways and course switching, and about Curtin’s great campus life! We follow the presentation with a 15-minute Q&A.

Get in touch with us so that we can work with you to make sure the session is engaging for your students.

The ‘virtual campus’ experience

Give your students a virtual Curtin experience! This is a one-hour immersive tour of the campus with our Future Student staff and guest appearances along the way. Your students will also learn about the admission process and early offers.

Let’s work together to tailor this experience to the students’ interests and needs.

The ‘virtual campus’ experience

Year 11 students are often keen to learn a bit about the university life that awaits them in the not-too-distant future. In this one-hour session, our Future Student staff take the students on an immersive tour of the campus. They’ll also learn how to apply to Curtin and about the admission pathways – and hopefully that’ll ease some of the pressure on them in year 12! As with most of our sessions, we’d like to chat with you to make sure this experience is right for your year 11s.

Q&A group session

We’ll schedule a 30-minute Q&A with our Future Student Engagement Coordinators, so that any of your year 11 students can ask about Curtin directly to camera, and we’ll explain what they want to know.

For year 10s

Year 10 presentation

In this presentation (30 minutes), your year 10s will learn some ‘uni lingo’, and why there are prerequisites for university courses. They’ll also learn about admission pathways – it’s great for them to understand there’s more than one way into uni – and they’ll get a glimpse of life as a uni student.

We’ll work with you to make this session right for the stage of the education journey that your students are at.

The ‘virtual campus’ experience

This is a one-hour session that takes the students on an immersive tour of Curtin’s main campus, with our Future Students staff and other guests. The tour gives your students an inside look at uni life – which may motivate them even more in their current studies!

Contact us and we’ll work to make sure the experience is tailored towards your students interests.

Q&A group session

Understandably, year 10 students can be a bit shy about their education future. This 30-minute Q&A session, with our Future Student Engagement Coordinator, can help them become more curious about their education journey. They can ask us questions directly to camera, and we’ll provide them with useful information.
