Our Rising Scholar Program (RSP) offers a select number of high-ability students in Year 10, 11 and 12 the opportunity to engage in tertiary learning while also providing them with a genuine Curtin student experience.
RSP students receive full fee sponsorship and study one first-year unit per semester on a not-for-degree basis, to a maximum of four units across the program. A range of units is available from all four faculties: Business and Law, Health Sciences, Humanities and Science & Engineering.
Subject to satisfactory completion, students are eligible to gain Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) upon enrolling into a relevant Curtin degree after high school. During their time in the RSP, they’ll also familiarise themselves with the ways of tertiary education and engage in all relevant Curtin activities like other regular full degree students.
